'Expander - STILL LIFE'

11-May-2022 - 28-May-2022

A new series of annual group exhibitions known as the Expander  series featuring selected represented and invited artists around a different broad theme each exhibition. This second Expander exhibition, Expander - STILL LIFE will feature a diverse collection of invited contemporary artists who explore still life in their practices.

In Contemplation Of Life’s Simple Pleasures

'Still life (works of art) can ground us in the human experience by reflecting our sensory reactions to the world.  At the deepest level, still life is a meditation on human experience as reflected in our perception of and feelings about things'.

(From article by Christopher Allen, Weekend Australian June 20-21 2020).
